thebitterguyEveryone, I suppose, has their own Time Machine Murder list. You know what I mean. Some bastich you wanna trip through the timestream and slip a few rounds into their teenage brainpan.
So, you must be asking yourself, since The Bitter Guy is bringing up this discussion, perhaps he is about to reveal his OWN list. Who will be on it, you ask? Hitler? Stalin? The leadership of the Stern Gang?
Nah. It's the fucker who invented Power Point. Damn, I hates Power Point. Power Point, for those of you who've been spared it's foul touch, is part of Microsoft's Office suite of program. It allows people (I use the term lightly) to put together little presentations.
When used properly, it is a wonderful tool. It allows for presentation of information to people in an interesting organized way. But when used improperly? Oh, man.
There is nothing, I think, more annoying than a five frame PowerPoint presentation that lags every machine in the office to announce that some manager is getting married, some committee is holding a bake sale, or person X had a bake sale.
You know, not to be a grouch (oh, wait. That's EXACTLY what I want to do) but a) I don't really care and b) you can deliver it better. Word has lovely stuff you can do (Wordart! Huzzah!) and it runs so much more quickly.
But Power Point? Un-necessary. And the 'spinning text' option? An evil on par with demo team leadership. Not to mention the annoyingly long time it takes to switch a page. Can't they do something to make it go faster?
Not a problem if I travelled back and took him out.
