So, yeah. Since I can't do anything without rousing suspicion (she must suspect NOTHING!), I've spent the morning scanning Star Wars websites.

Specifically, the Rebel Legion and the 501st.

I'm not really one for costuming, myself, but these guys look like a fun bunch. They appeared at the Primedia masquerade a few years back.

One thing that disappoints is that there are WAY more sandtroopers in the 501st (Canadian) than Snowtroopers. Wassup wit DAT?

Just mellowing out. Have attempted to read Dragons of the Sixth World a couple times today. Jesus, that's a thick book. Is it just me, or is that the biggest non-rules book to come out for Shadowrun? You could maim an elf with that sucker.

Intro sections a little dry, and I can't find a good place to jump into the Dragon-ographies.

In other news, I have a spare copy of Redhurst. Muy Cool d20 supplement with a bit of the Hogwarts vibe (a skool for Magically Gifted youth).

It's not bad. The book doesn't focus on any era per se, but provides an overview of the whole of the Dragonlance saga. However, by necessity, most of that saga is the new books, because there are just so damn many of them. There are some cool feats and prestige (and core) classes, along with spells. The races are nice too. The details on High Sorcery are valuable and the lengthy gazetteer is fine, though I wish there was a complete map rather than lots of little ones.

All in all, a decent, if incomplete, overview of Krynn and its peculiarities for 3.5.
