No matter how enraged you become at your loved one, listening to them sing is a very calming influence.
Not that I was enraged at her tonight. We actually had a good time watching the first couple episodes of The Amazing Race (Damn you, Dave Creighton! ANOTHER ONE!) and eating pizza. But I came down to waste my time on the computer.
I remember listening to my mum sing It was nice. Her English repertoire was somewhat limited, but still, it's one of those childhood recipes that equates with sunshine and cool breezes (which is summer, as in the winter that gets you snow blindness and frostbite).
