Could someone please explain...
Sep. 8th, 2003 11:56 pmWhy the HELL do I own a copy of The Last Exodus?
I know I didn't get a review copy. I must have bought it.
Did I buy it at GenCon?
Guys?
Did I get it to be familiar with the ruleset for the 9/11 supplement (now approaching two years later, guys; better get a move on)?
What possible reason could I have for this? The faux tattoo cover art is nice, I guess, but I'm really incapable of putting together a coherent reason for owning this.
On the plus side, a noodle restaurant is opening down the road. And Snra. Bitter & I went for Pocky the other day. She'd never had it before. It's weird how many simple junkfoods most people haven't had.
I hate that Crunchy bars are both fragile and poorly packed. Look: They're the tastiest candy bars in the world, but they break real easy. Make it harder for 'em to break, and I'll buy more.
I wanna run a Wraith game based on the song Orleans Parish Prison.
Firefly has recommenced on Space. Watch it.

Date: 2003-09-09 05:13 pm (UTC)I can JUSTIFY those two purchases. Not the third one.
The song is by Dick Feller, performed by Johnny Cash.

The three verses describe three characters of a certain wretchedness, in such a hostile environment, that it's the sort of thing that makes a good W game. That and googling the jail itself shows a typically lovely correctional institution, but located in New Orleans, which is +2 fun.
