No, I'm not cool enough to get an invite, but apparently you can start with an openID account, which will let you read and subscribe to accounts, and let you get a sense of the place. if you have an LJ, you've got and OpenID.

It looks like a good implementation of the LJ code, at least. I guess it'll be interesting to see what they do. I wonder if it'll last longer than the other implementations (IJ & GJ, &c, &c)?

And, yes, holy crap, Deadliest Warrior is Hoo'd Win: the TV show.

I caught the first episode of Deadliest Warrior last week (Apache vs Gladiator)... Was actually kind of disappointed, as their "measurements" were arbitrary ("I think this would win at close range versus that"), their computer model was flawed, and there was too much trash talking. Do you want to know who won that one?
