Race for the Galaxy: The Gathering Storm

thebitterguyJust cracked the box this morning. I picked it up on way back from game last night; the store was already shut down, but John was still there so he let me come in to pick it up.
It looks kind of weak, actually. It has some neat stuff (the goals), some useful stuff (more cards, and a replacement for the Gambling World), and a solitaire game variant that looks somewhat useful, but also seems to take up a lot of the energy of this set.
It also includes a 6 point development that doesn't actually do aything; Imperium Lords gives you a two VP bonus for each Imperium card you have, but it's the only Imperium card in teh game. Eh?
Plus, and AOL.com account? For shame, Rio Grande games.
Edit: Apparently, there's at least a couple Imperium cards in the base set. Feh.
