I don't recall where I saw this previously, but the Wax Cylinder Preservation Society looks pretty neat, if only to listen to century old comedy routines.

I had a friend in elementary school whose father was the caretaker of Glenmont and we used be able to listen to Edison's recordings in the house. Quite the treat even when you are eight years old and are used to cassettes...

Now? I'd kill baby harp seals with depleted uranium rounds to have run of that house again...
