I still have that dream quite frequently. Gotta love the capriciousness of the subconscious.

A year or so ago, I had a version of this dream that was so vivid I actually checked my bank account to make sure I hadn't, in fact, paid tuition for three math courses and then not shown up for a single class until the one right before the exam.

I was never more grateful for internet banking, which allowed me to convince myself that, even if it wasn't a dream, I at least hadn't written any cheques.

Half the time those end with me trying to remember why I was back there when they kicked me out...

As do I! There was one memorable time I had this dream where I was able to realise that it was a dream and could literally do anything I wanted, instead. That was awesome, and almost made up for all the other versions of that dream :)

That's called "lucid dreaming" - some people actually practice it.

I know, and I sometimes have limited success with it, but that was the only time it worked so completely :)

I still have those dreams about once a year. The closest thing to a nightmare I have, generally. What does THAT say? :-)

Oddly, I very rarely have the 'have a test/assignment I never prepared for' dream, although I do have a fair bit of 'back in school' dreams. Mostly mine tend to revolve around having lost my class schedule and trying to find my classes, in a school which is somehow also a shopping mall.

Ya know, I don't have those dreams anymore. Instead, they've been replaced by dreams where I'm facing a class full of nightmare students with zero lesson preparation.

Ah, the joys of teaching...

I have teacher dreams now... where I've forgotten to mark everything or didn't prep the lessons for the day etc etc.

QFT!

I thought I was the only one who had this dream... it's good to know that I'm in good company.

*ROTFL* I had a very similar dream about a week ago... Woke up convinced I had missed an important class and had something due immediately. Feeling actually stuck with me all day, even after checking all my syllabus' three - five times :P

True -- However, it does not bode well for my future dreams ;)
