Well, that sucks.

Good thing I didn't spring for that permanent account, eh?
I'm kinda bummed about this. I mean, sure, it's not dead (yet!), but I've been on LJ for seven years now, and I enjoy it, and I've met a lot of very nice people through here. Seriously, the "prat/cool bean" ration is very high, although admittedly that's probably due to me being very selective.
Feh. If it all falls apart, you can always find me at Wordpress.
Some douche already took The Bitter Guy over there.

Moving day...
Date: 2009-01-06 05:04 pm (UTC)You can import your entire LiveJournal blog into your WordPress blog pretty easily. It's actually a two or three click option. It might (?) be limited to posts only, but you can do it at any time and it doesn't effect your LJ blog... so testing may be in order.
You don't have to lose your community. The firings are a pretty freaking dire warning, but you've got time to figure out where everyone's going.
BTW: I'll be in Toronto for my brother's wedding in February... I'd be really happy to see you and Cindy. I'll be in Richmond Hill, but downtown is only a few days away by transit.
