I have all of her albums, and I have seen her in concert 3 times. If she tours again, do go out of your way to see her, I guarantee it will be worth the effort!

Worth noting: I knew her before I was Canadian, and without any SCA connotations. The Mummer's Dance had a video that was shown on MTV for all of two weeks. But it was enough that I saw it and liked it.

At one of the very successful parties we used to have at Chaplin Haus someone decided my collection of Loreena McKennitt was superfluous to my needs, so took them all.

In a span of some twenty parties over five years of University they were the only CDs ever stolen.

Left me the CD cases though!

She's a friend of a close friend of my mother. And some friends of mine (Imaginary Heaven) opened for her at a few concerts. I met her once at a party. My mom's met her a bunch of times. Personally I don't like her, I find her to be bizarrely arrogant and I can't take her music. The arrogance would be cool if there was way more bass and way less harp in her songs.

Her music is an important part of my Pagan Playlist. *grin* 'Course, I had no clue she was Canadian till now; I just lost major Canadianity points. I suppose I'll have to go Christmas shopping in my shorts again to make up the slack. *sigh*
