Personally, I'd rather not give up the right to choose our leaders. To my mind, without an election, a government has no right to rule.

If the GG simply invited the Coalition to take over, I'd have to consider it a coup against the people of Canada. I'd go to the Hill and DEMAND they call an immediate election.
