Mmm... Holmes' edge is in that he has more capability for compassion, tact, and keeping a cool head. I don't think he'd pull a cane out from under House, but House would be the first one to have steam coming out of his ears.

Intriguing, as both are examples of a dark little theory I've had brewing for a while. Namely, there are some with vested interests in instilling a meme in the hind-mind that, as long as you're brilliant enough, you can be a royal dick to your coworkers, friends and strangers.
