Jose Chung's "From Outer Space".

Oh, man, that was awesome. Starring Jesse Ventura & Alex Trebek as The Men in Black.

Or maybe the one where they flashback to Mulder & TLG first meeting, and he pulls out this huge '80s era cell phone.

And, no, I have not ever experienced paranormal activity, except for an overactive imagination.

The former is absolutely my favourite, even if it's mostly for the show taking the piss out on itself.

Like a lot of self-referential things, I don't know if I'd recommend it as the "one single episode" someone should watch if they'd never seen the X-files, and could only watch one.

That is a great episode. I also really liked the vampire one, where it switches between Mulder and Scully's account, and Mulder's view has Luke Wilson all buck-toothed and idiotic.

I like that one, or the one when they were on COPS.

That's got to be my favourite one too!

My favorites are "Home" about the inbred family and "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose." Peter Boyle was awesome in that episode.
