You ever turn to look at a person and think "you are not the person I thought you were twenty seconds ago. The person you were could not have said that".

It's not fun.

Ah, well, This weekend, I shall Karaoke. Songs shall be sung, fun shall be had.

Next weekend, Cindy & I shall be going to Ottawa for our anniversary. We'll be staying at teh luxurious Novotel, in downtown Ottawa. Hopefully we'll be able to hook up with some friends, and grab a quick breakfast with the hos down at Mellos.

I'm convinced Steven Marsh hates me. Of course, I'm convinced everyone hates me.

Today, twice I thought I was going to be fired. My supervisor just wanted to have a meeting with me.

Boy, for someone who hates you, Steven Marsh sure publishes a lot of your reviews. ;o) Seriously, I'm sorry to hear bad stuff's happening to you lately. What happened with Mr. Marsh, if you can talk about it? *nosey little wuff, always trying to get in on the industry* ;o)

I don't think he HATES me. I'm just curious if he's going to publish my After the Bomb review.

He's way too busy. I miss his early days in the job, when he'd write back to a submission.

Ah, well. I got a check from them today, so I shouldn't complain.

Mellos is a greasy spoon in the Byward Market, Ottawa's big touristy section. Prostitutes hang out there at night because it's a 24 hour place. They also serve a good diner breakfast, which my wife enjoys. If you ever end up in Ottawa (which you have my condolences for in advance), go tehre for breakfast. Unless you're a vegetarian, in which case don't.
