Unfortunately, there are no plans to air the new season of the Venture
brothers at this moment. But you're certainly not the only fan to
inquire about these new episodes!

Indeed. Like it or not, the net has made it a global marketplace for entertainment, and so there is no excuse for airing something in one area and greatly delaying it in another - you're only going to be shooting yourself in the foot.

I wonder if Cartoon Network is causing the delay or if it's Teletoon just not planning to air it.

I can honestly say it was the only thing that made me turn in to Teletoon these days. Catching Robot Chicken being a possible other reason, but I never plan to watch that, I just catch it by chance.

I just don't watch live TV at all, any more (other than sports and sports-related panel shows, and even that is PVR'd to watch on hdd-delay).

For stuff like Venture Bros, BSG, etc, etc, etc, I just patiently wait for the DVDs:

• The audio quality is way better
• The video quality is way better
• The extras are sometimes interesting
• I can watch at my own pace
• I pay the production companies more directly for their work rather than going through advertising dollars (which indirectly supports companies and products I may not wish to), or I support my local FLVS (which, ibid)
• As with many things in life, I just don't find it all that vital to be "current" with television

I tried "time-shifting" for a while, and I just found it more of a hassle than anything else. If the show is good enough, it'll make it to DVD and I'll be able to rent, or buy it. If it's not that good, then, oh well, I have better things to do with my time.

(Venture Bros S3 is on my buy list, for when it eventually drops.)

Justin, they are far too busy airing The Mask and Tank Girl to trifle with "cartoons." What do you think Teletoon is? Some kind of... cartoon network?
