Did a little more shopping today w/ Snra Bitter. Picked up a new lawnmower (manually powered). The blades just keep spinning after you finish a push, let me tell you.
Also picked up a couple of the mini milk crates for Xbox games & DVDs. We also each picked up a DVD.

She picked up Stargate, which I pointed out to her because I know how much she loves it. I really hope it's a case of her actually enjoying it and not just memories of an enjoyable viewing. I really enjoyed it the first time, and it's still watchable, but I'm not sure I'm glad we have it living in the house now.

I picked up a copy of UHF, purely because I'm insane. God, It's not that good a movie, but I hope the commentary and extras are cool. Jesus, what was I thinking?

I also went to HMV to pick up a copy of Johnny Cash's Murder, but they didn't have any, which upset me not a little, so I picked up his new one The Man Comes Round. They informed me they were discontinuing their little customer loyalty program with the cards, so I cashed mine in and got a Greatest Hits compilation by Tom Cochrane.

Fuck, I'm old, ain't I?

We hammered together the lawnmower, and trimmed the grass. Cindy is concerned about the drain in the back of the lawn-let because of West Nile fears. We will see about that.

Currently, we're contemplating contacting the same contractor who put together Z's backyard (www.contract-her.com) to see about getting out the old patio, levelling it, and putting in stone & steel.

The commentary is terrific. The deleted scenes are particularly funny -- not because they're good, but because Al goes through and mocks each of them for being *deservedly* cut.
