Uday had bought a new GPS machine for his camping, and he and I took it on the road for a quick Geocaching session on Saturday. We'd never done it before, and he had not really gone too deep into the manual.
So we did a pretty good job following the general directions, and we knew pretty much where we were going.
At one point we weren't sure if we were on the right side of the river. We switched screens on the GPS and found that we were getting close, and eventually found it before we gave up. It was a pretty simple cache; we didn't take anything, but if I ever get to do it with any regularity I figure I'll put un-needed HeroClix into them.
The cache had actually recently been replaced very recently, as the previous one had been washed away in spring flooding.
