I tidied it up. Yeah, DLB has passed to the great "blogger whores of the world" party. Of course, YMB's has been intermittently funny.

X2 was good, but so were the first two Spider flicks (the second of which created the most awesome superhero video game ever). I have hopes for Iron Man. Not HIGH hopes, but hopes.

Also, I think we're in agreement that X3 and Spidey 3 never happened, right?

No, they happened. They were just pretty bad capstones to their particular franchises.

What looks bad about IM for you?

I just don't know if I can get on board with the RD Jr. thing. I'm also worried that it'll be a bit too much of "look at all the crazy effects we have!" and no real story (à la Ghost Rider).

Well, all we have is the pretties so far, but they seem to be doing a good job integrating Obidiah Stane and the Afghani Warlord Origin story.

Admittedly I haven't done much research on the Net to see what parts of the comic series are actually going to be integrated in the movie, but an integration of Iron Monger is good news!
