The GI Joe movie has pictures out.

I am ambivalent at best. I like how they've decided that the best way to run a top secret commando organization is to put the group's name in their camoflague.

I like how Storm Shadow's outfit went from "goofy '80s ninja" to "the Matrix offices called and they're gonna need that back".

Hey, remember when Hawk got shrunk down really small and injected into Martin Short's ass?

When I first saw a pic of Snake Eyes, I thought they were going to nail the look of the characters. Now, having seen more pics of him, I realize they first pic was REALLY good...

And seeing the rest of the cast...

Ambivalence is a fair reaction. I kinda hope this turns out EXACTLY like the cartoon. Only with real people. Lotsa lasers, people jumping out of exploding vehicles, and nary a flesh wound to be found. Also, it really needs to end with a quick and simple lesson at the end. Something about how you shouldn't play between parked cars or something...

Personally, it just won't really be GI Joe for me if anyone actually dies. Everyone has to get knocked out, or eject before the plane/tank/motorcycle explodes, etc.

Plus, all the guns have to be lasers. Colourful lasers, with one colour for the good guys and another for the bad guys.
