Tell Me! High score Initials!
Apr. 16th, 2008 11:37 amOnce upon a time, the greatest way to make your mark in your neighbourhood was to get a high score on one of the games at your local arcade.
Of course, the high score only allowed three digits. Sure, you could fall back on your initials, which was a little boring. But you also had the option to pick something snazzier.
YHB, for example, would list himself as DDT whenever he ranked on a video game.
So, what did you list yourself as in those bygone days of arcade glory?

Date: 2008-04-16 11:00 pm (UTC)Same here, except I don't have a middle name, so it was either T-W if the game allowed for spaces, dashes or characters other than an alphaset, or I'd do TWW (Terry W Wins!) if I did well or TWL (Terry W Loses!) if I didn't place well.
