I've been working for, oh, a few years now to get Cynra to attend Filkontario. I really think filking is something she needs to get back onto the horse for.

Naturally, she disagrees, every year tossing a variety of excuses at me. I thought maybe she'd agree to go since they had the Browncoat events this weekend, but that turned out not to be.

Meh. Horse to water, yadda, yadda. We are going to go to a Cheese Weasel festival tomorrow. I hope to go to Vincenzo's in Waterloo first to get some cheese (and those godlike garlic stuffed olives).

Were you able to pre-register, and can you still? We've been trying to get tickets and haven't had any luck at it....

Mmmm, garlic-stuffed olives. I may have to pop down to St. Lawrence after work for some of those. They'll clear my sinuses right out.

I'm pretty sure they'll be selling tickets at the door; it'll probably be a bit more than the $25 they list on the website.

Might be a low turnout, but fortunately cheese weaseling has a low critical mass... only takes a few folks for a nice spread.
