He posts stuff like this song about Alan Moore. So very cute.

Moore had the best wedding outfit ever.

Classic.

I wish I could pull off the rings Moore wears.

D'ja ever read the new League book? I need to grab it still.

I love his work, especially League, but if I looked up and saw him standing there, I'd be scared sh*tless...

Great song though.

But only for a moment, because then he'd look into your eyes and use his terrifying hypnotic gaze that he is so justly infamous for...wait.

Wait, wait. No, sorry. That was Rasputin. I'm always confusing those two.

I tell you, though, this man is amazing. I know no other man who's claimed to have deliberately written a comic book series as an occult working. Every single time I hear that someone in the Religious Right has cottoned on to comics as a Source of Great Evil, I'm sure they've gotten ahold of some of his works, but no such luck.

I'd pay oozing amounts of money to see a debate between Alan Moore and (pick one):

A. Fred Phelps.
B. Jerry Falwell.
C. Ann Coulter.

Seriously. Huge scads of money.

Uhhh... wacky Invisibles guy? Grant Morrison I think?

Kirby was probably up to something too...

Damn me. That's actually what I was thinking about, truth be told.

Hmmm. I hate it when that happens.

Spoken word pieces that get adapted into comic books probably count too.

I'm a broke-ass gringo, but I'm gonna see if the local library can get me a copy.

Promethea was intended to teach certain occult precepts, yeah, but not to be an act of magic in and of itself, the way the Invisibles was. Glorious.

Clearly comicdom needs more occult nerds writing for it. I shall volunteer immediately in my copius spare time.

It's not a quick read.

The library lets you keep books for several weeks, so they're still probably my safest bet.

That said, I'm intrigued; does it have lots of text supplements, or is it just very dense?
