A reimagining of the JLA as Victorian Supers.

Superman as a militaristic character is always a view of the character I disagree with, but the Aquaman and Hawkgirl looks are neat. Maybe a different sculpt to J'onn J'onz head would have been good.

Overall, though, fun. Good thing they're not real characters, as they would have then been all killed in Arena.

I love all of these. The Superman is cooler than he looks in his primary colored tights, and yes, Hawkgirl looks very cool with her 1880s mechanical wings. The wings need a bronze valve or two to completely make it perfect, though.

Can't say I think all that much of the WW Dance Hall Floozy... err ... Adventuress.

Maybe I just have a problem with the Wonder Woman character, fundamentally; but it seems to me that this sculpt feminizes, and sexualizes, the character in way that's kind of silly. WW == Amazonian Warrior, not WW == Mistress of the Hellfire Club.

I thought the Hawkgirl sculpt was much more interesting (despite still insisting on showing décolletage in what seemed like a slightly unnecessary fashion).

This is clearly a superb basis of a one-off role-playing session... maybe Mutants & Masterminds... *coff*

SPEAKING of which, I don't grok the Ice-o-hedron mini-con schedule. Facebook group appears to be closed, but actual schedule has somewhere close to "absolutely no" signed-up players. Am hesitant to sign up. Feel as if am missing something.

I love the Green lantern and Hawkgirl...He did a good job.

I think the Flash should be better but I'm biased (Flash being my favorite core JLA'er).

Huh. The Flash was my favorite of this batch, actually -- though Aquaman is the most inspired.

And, while I don't believe in a militaristic characterization of Superman, you gotta admit that Clark really looks good in a tunic.

Indeed, I love Aquaman's helmet full of water, though it must make it difficult to talk to the fish.
