In the sidecar

For the longest time, atomiks was planning to get a Ural, a Russian motorcycle that comes with a sidecar and machinegun mount.

I was strongly in favour of this, if only because it meant we could go for rides and I could get a Pickelhaube. I would look so awesome in one of those. Particularly with my bulging facial hair.

Oh! Additional news about last night. kinra and I grabbed dinner at Burger King before the flick, and we each wore one of their little cardboard crowns to the film. It added to the experience. True, not as much as tequila would have, but still.

You don't need an excuse to get a picklehaube. I'm gradually coming to the realization at this point in my life that it's harder to justify not owning one than the reverse.

Yes, but fezes work poorly at best for protecting your head in a motorcycle crash.

I'm gonna go with pickelhaube, because that page was written by someone with developmental issues.

Well, it is a "chopper shop". If you've ever seen an episode of "American Chopper" then you'll know that 'developmental issues' is their middle name. :-)

(And in the real world, I don't think you could use either helmet as a motorcycle helmet in Ontario, the laws there about helmets are very strict...)
