OK, here's my thing. Parody is funniest when it's as close as possible to the original model. At least, that's my premise. In this regard, this spot would have been funnier without all the profanity because that distances it from the original model. I found the first half of this spot much funnier than the first, but when the host started swearing, my writer's ear perked up and my brain went "uh-oh, it's gone off the rails".
This was almost "Phil's Used Fruit", but then it wasn't (ah! those guys knew how to do parody, didn't they?)
