I know this article about the Dalek porn movie is still awesome (although NSFW), but why the heck am I getting almost completely incomprehensible spam messages on the post where I orignally linked to it?

Is it just testing vulnerabilities, or is it actually for anything?

I'm not entirely sure. There are no links, obviously, so it doesn't seem like it's too useful. It's possible that the script adding them is trying to do more than what actually appears, and failing somehow ... but I'm not super up to date on different spamming methods and how they all work.

There doesn't appear to be anything embedded in the HTML either... It might be trying to execute something against the LJ code, and this random drivel is the dummy payload.

You might want to turn off anonymous commenting if this worries you at all.
