Place ya bets!
Jul. 25th, 2007 08:14 pmSo, a new comic store has opened spitting distance from Casa Bitter. The Geekdom (and check out the URL on that website) opened up literally a few days ago. This week was the first NCBD I've seen at it. I managed to grab Buffy #5, Countdown # 40 and the new Wolverine on the clerk's suggestion.
I think I may not take his advice again in the future.
Not bad. They're really empty, and the comics racks are... not. There's no back issues in store, and no trades. They seem to be primarily focusing on video games.
We'll see where it goes, and if it goes. It is the fourth retail establishment in the location since we moved in. Previously was another comic and game store, then a toy store, and then a computer store. I can't help but feel responsible for the last two going under.

I was with you on the description of the comic shop until you said they are "primarily focusing on video games" so I guess its a comics/video game store. Caught me off guard for a second. But that's geeky too.

I don't use a lot of math for a living or anything but... wait, I DO use a lot of math for a living, and that doesn't square up.
