Comics complaints: Only a few months late!

Man, you know what I'm peeved about? Nextwave being cancelled. Yeah, I know it was a few months ago, but it was such an awesome book. I was listening to the theme song a while back (and it grows on you, just like the book) and they mentioned the midget Hitler, and I swear that's the most vivid image imaginable. A midget Hitler.

I presume, since it's a creation of the Beyond corporation it's an actual clone of Hitler in midget form (I will call him... Mini-Hiter), not a midget who espouses fascist ideology.

Man, if I see SI this summer, I'm gonna ask him to drawer me a midget Hitler in Fin Fang Foom's pants.

edit: and the Marvel Page where you can get the theme song indicates it was a maxi series all along. Ah, well. At least it's less fucked than Omega Flight on every possible level.

I don't know that it was cancelled so much as Warren ran out of things to blow up. I'm not knocking it, I LOVED Nextwave. Lots. I just think he was done having fun with it. Maybe I'm wrong.

I think he could have blown up a lot more things.

Hell, he could probably have done a good job by turning from page to page in OHOTMU and saying "let's blow this up this month".

NextWave Vs the Eternals. It couldn't have been worse than the miniseris last year.

I'm not sure you can get more fucked than "Omega Flight." Normally I'd say "Onslaught Reborn" fits the bill, but at least the first issue or two of that was unintentionally funny.
