The greatest HeroClix booster ever, etc.
Mar. 1st, 2003 01:42 pmOkay, not GREATEST (That would contain The Red Skull, Nick Fury, the Enchantress, and another random unique).
But, as a belated B-day present,
maliszew gave to me a couple HC boosters.
The Marvel contained much goodness. V Magneto, V Wolverine, E Professor X, and V Elektra. The DC contained a R Superman, and a couple others.
I'm just glad to finally have a Magneto. Huzzah! My Brotherhood may begin their reign of terror!
New Comic Week last week:
The Truth is getting a bit hard to read. As it goes on, characters who we don't get to know very well at all get killed. The story is so thin it's easily encapsulated from previous issues on the first page. Kyle Baker's art is a bit off, too. I'm gonna continue reading it, if only because there's only two issues left and it looks like it's starting to get interesting.
Got issues 1 & 2 of The Crossovers. Good book. It's about a family (the crossovers), all of whom are keeping secrets. The father is a superhero (the archetype), the mother is a demon hunter, the daughter is secretly a princess on a fantasy world, and the son is co-operating with aliens planning to take over the world.
I give it a big thumb up.
New Invincible is out, and I haven't gotten it yet. Going in today for more new stuff.
Spider-Joe 50 is out, too.
