Live Free or Die Hard, you just can't beat that. Props to Kevin Smith and I'm looking forward to watching all the exploding goodness.

Is it me, or does this look more like an episode of 24?

I think this movie is going to deviate from the roots established by the original Die Hard. Based on the preview, the movie looks like it's more action and explosions than the sheer comedy of a guy who's in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I could be wrong.

Well, they pretty much gave that up with DHWAV. It's just John McLane, Supercop at this point.

Admittedly, right guy, wrong place, wrong time is a formula that might not have played this long.
