Another bit on Idiocracy

This is the openning from Idiocracy. It's not very funny.

In retrospect, Beavis & Butthead is probably pretty darn funny.

edit: Jesus, it looks like the whole damn film is in there.

edit: What I meant was that yes, it's very funny, but the best comedy always hurts someone. Today, that was me.

Idiocracy would've been a much better movie if they had cut out the intro.

I won't say the movie is hilarious, but many scenes from it keep popping back up in my head, in my daily life, as I deal with people.

I thought Idiocracy was a great concept and a lovely smack in the face of so many corporations, but somehow Mike Judge just couldn't pull it off nearly as well as he could/should have.

Even so, it still doesn't excuse the decision to destroy all the prints.

Well, even I'll admit that just judging by that clip, I'd probably think the movie was dumb. But I did see the whole thing and while not as funny as Judge's masterpiece known as "Office Space," "Idiocracy" is fairly humorous in it's own right.

That's kind of how I felt about it. I can't look at Gatorade the same way anymore. Although I wasn't exactly ROTFL when watching it.

Oh, it was HUMOUROUS. It just wasn't funny to me. Because it was too true.

Oh, the movie was far from dumb. And that piece was very humourous, but not funny to me, because of my history. It's just too true.
