thebitterguyThere is nothing in the world better than the feeling of my face right after I've got from 'scruffy' to 'smooth, like baby bottom'.
I just wanna rub my face for hours afterwards. Ahhhh...
So, I spoke with the 'rents today. I got a little more clarification on the operation. You see, in my mind's eye, I saw some Frankensteinian procedure that involved bone saws and them bridge suckers.
The truth of the matter? A SEVEN CENTIMETRE INCISION!
I have bigger scars than that ON MY HEAD!
He'll be under for 78 minutes. Which was the part that got me upset. When my mom went in for a spinal fusion about 6 years ago, she spent a day or two under (I think it may have been longer than normal, but she probably needed the rest).
But this? He could get it done with a local. Feh.
My parents, if you can believe this, are taking a limo into town, and back. Gotta love it.
So, it appears mind numbingly routine, not unlike a procedure he'd perform on one of his own patients(although, for Christ's sake, you'd think he'd retire already! He's almost 70!).
Feh. I really need to get these 'unresolved issues' issues resolved so I don't have to feel my stomach drop every time the phone rings.
