A repetition of the official Bitter Guy policy on Avril Lavigne

You know, I'm not one to comment on Music. It is... Beyond me. I can listen to music, and my reaction is either "Ah! A beat, and you can dance to it! I give it a 97!", or "Ah! No beat! Still, catchy. Another 97!", OR "Fuck it, I'm tired."

But, however, I still give props to Avril because she's forcing media people (well, primarily newspapers) to comprehend the glory that is... Napanee.

She was wearing an 'effing Home Hardware t-shirt on SNL last night.

That, and everyone hates her.

p.s. No, I would rather NOT listen to Sk8ter Boi ever again.

p.p.s. Either one of my brothers OR pyat mentioned a while back that it's likely that, in the post Avril world, I'll never be the most famous person from Napanee. My reply? "Not if I kill a LOT of people."

I'm inclined to approve of Avril if only because, in the Wall O' Girl Singers that is your average local CD emporium, she's the only one with her clothes on. I realize this probably works against her in some circles, but I'm for it.

Can you tell me, BTW, if there is in fact a Lesser Napanee? I drive up and down the 401 a lot and the uncertainty is driving me crazy.

There was just a Napanee, but during the great Harrisite amalgamation of '96/97, several surrounding municipalities were merged with it to form Greater Napanee.

Having covered Municipal politics for a fwe weeks, I can only say they did NOT go quietly.
