So, then, brothers and sisters, which of these Pro Wrestling angles is worse? David Arquette's championship run in WCW, or Kevin Federline pinning John Cena?

It's hard to pick, isn't it? At least WCW had the excuse of trying to hype Ready to Rumble; K-Fed is just another example of WWE's willingness to bottom feed off of the least interesting apsects of pop culture.

In WWE's favour, K-Fed didn't get a belt, he just pinned one of their main eventers in a run in during a no dq match.

I voted for K-Fed, but in reality, Katie Vick tops them both. It's the angle that broke my camel's back. 17 years as a pro wrestling fan, and Katie Fucking Vick ended it for me.

That was a tough call. I gave it to K-Fed only because Arquette had at least some semblence of a storyline behind him.

I'm going with Arquette, because not only did it involve a title change, but DA showed no talent whatsoever. He made Jay Leno look like Samoa Joe. K-Fed, on the other hand, is already showing some natural aptitude to be a heel. Furthermore, the title didn't change hands, and Federline's apearances have led to a higher profile for J. Nitro.

How anyone can vote for Arquette when K-Fed is one of the possible choices for worst _ANYTHING_ is beyond me. I mean, it's K-Fucking_Fed. The only good thing he did is ... um ... wait ... it'll come to me ... there has to be something ...

Well, yeah, the Katie Vick tape, and the whole destruction of Kane's backstory it accompanied, is EPIC. Like a cautionary tale people (I'm not naming any specific people) will tell their kids. "This is how you bury someone completely, kids"

Because, as useless as K-Fed is (and he's pretty damn useless) he has yet to win gold. If they do that, I reserve the right to switch my vote.

His mere involvement is enough to win him the title of "worst." His getting in the ring earns him "worst ring entrance." His appearance on TV earns him "worst TV broadcast." His breathing earns him "worst use of air." His singing ... well, need I say it?

K-Fed = Worst. Period. Not open for debate.

I thin it's the title change that does it for me. A lot of guys work really hard to get considered good enough for a title run. To put it on an actor who's made a movie for the parent company? It's like giving it to Robert Patrick to promote The Marine.

Patrick looks like he can go, though. You can never have enough good villains. Which is one of Raw's biggest problems right now.

The K-Fed angle was fine, and he did a good job given his experience in the role. Most of those whining about it are whining because that's all they know how to do about wrestling.

I have to agree - with one codicil - or just as a blanket reaction to K-Fed.

Was it the most inspired wrestling work/angle/whatever of all time? Hell no.

Now the Arquette angle? I'm sorry, but with his moves and abilities he'd be hard pressed to play a ref.

Katie Vick was indeed a sad day. Since Katie Vick, no wrestling promotion anywhere in the world has managed to put on a compelling match, storyline, television show, live event or DVD release.

No, the K-Fed angle certainly wasn't the most inspired wrestling angle of all time. Most of the best wrestling angles are simple in design and strong in execution, and the undeserving heel getting a win over the far superior babyface with help from a higher-level heel angle is simple and time-honored.

The best wrestling storyline of all year was also exceptionally simple: Every time KENTA hits someone with the Go 2 Sleep, he wins the match. Bryan Danielson is the long-reigning champion of ROH, and has never been a victim of the Go 2 Sleep before. What will happen if KENTA drops Danielson into his deadly finishing move?

They spent months establishing both KENTA and Danielson's strength, and the match was brilliant and had a satisfying conclusion.
