thebitterguyBack in November, about the 11th, Cynra & I were channel surfing when we stumbled up on The Devil's Brigade, about how a group of hard working disciplined Canadians whip a group of lazy, shiftless Yanks into shape to take on the Nazi menace.
Richard Dawson played Pvt. Hugh MacDonald in the film. In one scene, the soldiers were in a bar fight and the kilted Pvt. MacDonald was in the middle of it. "Think he's wearing it regimental?" I mused out loud. A that very second, he lept over a bar, and his kilt revealed a pair of, IIRC, maroon underpants. "Guess not," replied the wife.
I guess you had to be there.
