Franklin Richards and Guiding Light
Nov. 10th, 2006 09:39 amOkay, so, yesterday after work I headed up to Dragon Lady for some comics, I picked up the new Franklin Richards book. Enjoyed it, although it was odd that the last third or so of the book was promotional material for a new character. It wasn't until I got home that I realized it was a promo for the soap opera crossover Guiding Light.
You can apparently see the episode here, although I can't get it to open.
edit: God Bless Youtube. Here's a trailer for that storyline.

Date: 2006-11-10 05:06 pm (UTC)The funny thing? It was all his idea. He originally moved to New York to write soaps, found his way into Marvel (arguably his first love) instead, and then a couple years later came up with this. He's about the only guy I know with the encylopedic knowledge of both genres needed in order to pull this off.
