Lost, a few days later
Oct. 20th, 2006 04:49 pmMan, that was a pretty mediocre institute. Locke's most interesting when he's in conflict with someone (such as the flashback). The whole 'island shaman' thing has ceased to be quite as interesting. The flashback was better than the A story, although I find the tension of Lock flashbacks has also ebbed as I no longer spend time on the edge of my seat wondering if he'll be crippled this time. It was rather amusing to see him as great white hunter in some kind of hippy commune. Once again, John Locke can't trust nobody.
Ecko got to do his job as an oracle. I guess when Amanda Plummer isn't availalbe, you take what you got. Did John take the same stuff he gave Boone for his visionquest?
The 'new' castaways made their appearance. The feller is apparently the Brad Pitt of Brazil.
I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Benry.
Oh: Amusing hypotheses launched at work: Benry is part of wasserface's polyandrous harem, and when he said "I guess I'm out of the book club", he actually meant "You broke my heart and threw me out of the house, so if I can ever leave you to drown you better believe I'm gonna do it."
