Oct. 19th, 2006 10:46 amOh, man. Remember Kriish? It apparently wasn't the first superhero film to dance its way out of Bollywood. There was a... less good (I drip with compassion today) Superfilm, an Indian version of Superman.
Apparently, instead of at least the nod to originality we got from Kriish, this was pretty much a scene for scene remake of the Donner Superman flick (including FX scenes that were... borrowed). I'm surprised Billionaire Ted didn't order an airstrike.
Apparently the film was inspired by the succes of Mr. India, the Godfather of Bollywood superhero films.
