ketronic, from which my neck has started to recover.
Afterwards, met up withluciencarter and headed out to Peterborough for Phantasm. We kibitzed about the many things we kibitz about, including the upcoming Spaceballs tv show. I stand by my statement that Mel Brooks has been floundering since Young Frankenstein.
I finally got to play in the d20 CoC game with the GM I missed last year. Interesting, but we all survived, which was a bit optimistic. He also had a few fugue seconds where he wanted to play BRP and not d20.
Spent time witheyebeams, velvetpage (and their youngest child, who I finally got to play with a bit), madmanofprague, and pyat.
I picked up a booster of Star Wars Bounty Hunters expansion for the CMG. Traded my rare for a couple others to someone who needed it to complete his collection.
After game, there was talk of people getting together for dinner but it didn't quite work out. I did get a roti, but it was mediocre at best.
The ride back was nice, only slightly damp. Got a Beaver Buzzto keep myself going.
Today was Word on the Street with Cynra &redeem147. Got a few things, including a filmmaking manifesto by Melvin Van Peebles (who apparently did not spring fully formed into being in 1971), an autobiography of Johnny Cash and a book on CD of a Trek novel by Peter David, and subscribed to The Walrus. Also bumped into the lovely wife of the talented robin_d_laws at her work booth.
Looking forward to tonight's TAR.
