War on Terror: The Boardgame

Man, I have got to get me one of these for the next board game day: War on Terror: the Boardgame.

It's got suicide bombers, political kidnaps and intercontinental war. It's got filthy propaganda, rampant paranoia and secret treaties and the Axis of Evil is a spinner in the middle of the board. You can fight terrorism, you can fund terrorism, you can even be the terrorists. The only thing that matters is global domination - err, liberation

Of course, just like WizKids, they fuck you on shipping. It's five pounds to the US, but 14 to Canada. Maaaaaan.

As long as no one's selling a LARP, I guess we're okay.

Have there been any GOOD WoT RPG games or supplements? Since Top Secret: SI's Commando supplement, at least.

There is a LARP version. It's called The National Security Decision-Making Game (http://www.nsdmg.org/).

Yes, I wish I had had it notorized.

As for a WoT RPG ... I'd tried to produce one a few years ago, but my authors missed their deadlines and we made Albedo instead.

I'd love to say I'd be able to supply you a copy with cheaper postage but looking at it we'd be charging about £13 postage to Canada or the US! I don't quite know how they can afford to charge only £5 to the States if they're shipping it from the UK!

NSDMG is one of those things I always plan to play but don't have the time and am afraid I'll end up getting into a fistfight with some hawkish libertarian type.
