Oh, Crap. It's Sunday night
Sep. 17th, 2006 09:37 pmSo, yeah. Nine O'Clock on Sunday.
Watching TAR with Cindy. The two Asian guys were just shooting around with water guns in an airport. The guns got confiscated. Five will get you ten the Muslim guys did the same thing, they'd be in lockup.
And then someone (one of the Alabama MILFs?) gets all snarky because the lady with one leg got to pre-board. SHE'S GOT ONE FUCKING LEG!
Agh. This is gonna be annoying. It turns out the Models are not, in fact, gay, but the gay guys are.
Anyway. Saturday was nice.
atomiks came over to do some biking. We pedalled around Milton for a while, and
mr_weasel called us to say goodbye before he left on his European Vacation. Look Kids, Big Ben! Parliament! I miss him already.
We biked about the city, and got back. The plan was to go see The Illusionist, but ended up ordering Swiss Chalet & watching Star Wars and some of Empire (and playing SW Lego demos on the xbox).
I ended up watching a lot of TV at night. Enjoyed a Tony Bourdain show filmed during a layover in Bangkok (some people are lazy) and a bunch of episodes of the Venture Brothers. Man, that's some funny shit.
Today was supposed to be yard work with Cynra. Of course, around 11:30, I noticed that today, being the third Sunday in September, was Teacher day at the Zoo, which meant that a teacher and a guest get in free. So, since we do so love the zoo, off we went.
There were a lot of babies I hadn't seen before. The two Tiger cubs (which you may have seen in the zoocam) were both inside with their mom. The male was outside. Tigers don't raise their young together, apparently, but he was pacing back and forth outside the door to the habitat.
We did see one of the tiger cubs momentarily, peeking out of a window into the den. The mother was also visible behind him, as a backdrop of lines.
The baboons also had a couple new babies, and there were also new ostriches as well as young zebras and giraffes.
A day at the zoo always takes it out of me, so we headed home and grabbed some dinner. And are now watching TAR.
And an elimination mid leg? That sucks, hard.
