Feb. 2nd, 2002 11:23 amJust to let you know:
I don't lie to my wife. Ever. If I try to tell a lie to her (even a little white one) I instantly come clean. I sometimes circumvent the truth on minor stuff (ie mentioning falling asleep on the couch as the reason I came to bed at 3, skipping the whole 'wake up at midnight and play on the computer for 3 hours' thing), but I won't tell her an out and out lie.
In fact, I rarely lie to anyone. It's not that I'm super trying to be honest. Or that I'm not good at it (I'm a GREAT liar, it comes with years of role-playing), just that I don't really do it that often. Minor ommssion, sure.
Occasional obfuscation of minor facts? Okay. Total untruth? Nah.
Or maybe I've been lying this entire post and I don't even know it.
