Krrish: Quick overview
Jul. 7th, 2006 11:27 amNeat story. I don't know if all Bollywood films have the same somewhat leisurely pacing (IT WAS THREE HOURS LONG! By the time he got to Singapore, X3 was over!), but it seemed well put together. The fact it's a sequel is almost irrelevant, as the first film gets summarized quite well in the course of the film.
There are dance sequences. It is hard to watch dance sequences when you have to read the subtitled lyrics. They do make great bathroom breaks, although you'll want to stick around for the one in the circus. Unless you're afraid of clowns, or acrobats.
The chick is hot, but the lead actor? So very, very ugly.
Very fun. Very fun. If you are tired to dreary and depressing superhero films, this is definitely an improvement.
Apparently, the guy who played Nemo in LXG (shudder) also appears in this. However, sine I don't know what he looks like sans beard, turban and submarine, I couldn't tell who he was.
