Who Cares, indeed
Jun. 30th, 2006 07:22 pmI teef this from
gmskarka.
Doctor in Distress, a celebrity aid song for Dr. Who. With the classic 'reading the lines 'cause we don't know them' pose. Remember when Kenny Rogers did that in We are the World?
Man, I can't hear it, but it looks... interesting.

Date: 2006-07-01 12:32 am (UTC)I'd never heard of it.
And now that I've heard it, I long for the days of old.
(When I hadn't heard it, that is.)

Date: 2006-07-03 05:11 pm (UTC)I got a lift earlier this year were I met the organizors and ripped a strip off of them for the experience I had. They were very apologetic and I am sure I came off as looking crazy but there is a wrong and a right way to run things. Forcing everybody who wants to meet celebrities in one giant assed line to get into a room is crazy. I was in the line to see one actor, but in a line up of a thousand people who wanted to see someone else. When I finally got to the door my actor was gone. What the hell? I figure I should have been in a line up for the actor and only that actor. You know how long I was in that god damned line? THREE HOURS! This is no way to run a convention. It only pisses people off.
Okay. Done ranting.
Bottom line - rather stick my head in the oven then go to Toronto Trek again. Shame really. They gotta hell of a guest lineup every year. I do miss out - but I'll stick with the Hobbystar show.
And, with all that said - I hope you have a good time and a successful weekend. :) If you see Amber Benson send her my regards. :D
