I tend to enjoy Comics Should Be Good very much. But this review of Infinite Crisis was just... disappointing. Especially after the enjoyable reviews of the preliminary miniseries.

I mean, really. No one should be reviewing comics who doesn't know enough to recognize the awesomeness of the purple death ray. I'm sorry; call me a pedant if you will, but that’s where I draw my line.

If you can't recognize the Purple Healing Ray, you officially can’t be a comics reviewer.

Man, between this and the previous column, it looks like CSBG will just be the UL column from now on. Shame, but nothing lasts forever.

You didn't find that panel just a little bit goofy? I thought it was quite excellent, but weird in the deathly serious way it was presented.

I'm sorry I can't be a comics reviewer anymore because I'm not steeped in Themysciran lore. That's the way it is, though!

That is the best icon EVAR!

With regards to your post, you might as well be speaking Turkish to me for the understanding I gleaned from it. I suppose I will have to read more comics to keep up.

This is very true. I also miss the telepathic thought radios and the Kangas. I REALLY miss the Kangas.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. This presupposes that Amazons would take the "Man's World/Ares/Hercules" way out of a problem as opposed to the Artemis/Palas Athena way out of a problem. The Ares way out of a problem involves leaving the blood-emptied bodies of your enemies after you. The Pallas Athena way of solving a problem involves looking your enemies in the EYE as you kill them, so that you recognise that you have done it and personalise the death.

Yes, ok, the Purple Death Ray is awesome, but it's a misreading of what Diana's mission in America/the world outside Themescyra was, in my opinion.

Ok - yah.. The Cure Light Wounds comparison is right on conceptually, but it still seemed out of character for me.
