thebitterguyQuiet weekend. Cynra had a funeral for a friend's father on Saturday, so I got her route mapped and sent her off. Worked at home for a bit, then headed off to see ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mr_weasel at his Saturday work. atomiks was there, so I got to see his new Fit. Not as cool as a Smart, but nice car all the same.
He brought it back to Casa Bitter, and gave Cynra a look & a drive, and now she wants one. God, let's just pay off the Civic first.
mr_weasel and I hung out at his employ for a while, where we kibbitzed, drank hot beverages and watched the first 30 some minutes of Saving Private Ryan. I'd forgotten quite how intense that flick was.
Got home in time to get packing done for the trip back to ACB for mother's day. We stopped off at my cousin's where we left our car overnight and met the new nephew. Cute kid, as they all are.
We ended up getting to Napanee around 10, where Mater had made burgers. Artichoke and asiago spread does real well on burgers, actually. Crashed last night.
This morning was normal brunch (spicy Turkish sausages and ful and eggs) and Cynra & I watched some Hellboy on the parents giant tv. I ended up crashing on the couch and then going for a nap while Uday & Qusay watched some hippie documentary.
Dinner was BBQ and stuff, then the drive back. Let me tell you, it's a lot easier sitting in the car than driving it.
