Hah! I knew drabble-writing was a useful life skill!

... Now if it was free veggie burgers, I'd take them up on it.

I love barbeque because Bud Light sucks.

The End.

"I love barbeque because, while I have never tasted Bud Light or any other beer, I can surmise that this particular brand sucks based on its aroma of effervescent foulness, which I have on several occasions had the misfortune to encounter. This is most regrettable, and the travesty of this stench having been inflicted on my person most definitely merits a tasty steak which I will cheerfully coat in a marinade including (but not limited to) worcestershire sauce, garlic and lime juice and then subject it to thermal forces until it is cooked medium well, whereupon I shall consume it."

100 words and fairly nonsensical. :)

By that, I mean a bit pink in the middle, but cooked through. I don't like my steak mooing at me.

You've inspired me to come up with my own:

Why do I love to BBQ? A multitude of reasons. The simplest is, well, the simplest. The sheer primitive thrill of applying fire to meat is a sensation far removed from my sterile modern existence.

Above that is the sensation of being out of doors, with friends or family, preparing a meal on a warm summer day.

The most important reason is the taste. Meat and vegetables cooked over an open fire just tastes better than the same food prepared any other way. A steak grilled to a perfect medium rare over an open flame is truly a rare delight.
