I.. Uh.. Did it again

A long time ago (forever, it seems), I made the mistake of letting Bif Naked's I Love Myself Today come after a slow, mellow song.

Did it again. This time, Here Comes the Sun. It's like getting a combat boot in the face. In a nice way, of course.

edit: Heh. The Blues Brothers soundtrack track for "Can't Turn you Loose" includes a line that says "By 2006 the music known today as the blues will only exist inthe classical records department of your local public library."

The Blues Brothers is a good movie, though. I still have a Betamax copy of this classic still kicking around...

That's nothing, I had a Tori Amos breakup song (I can't remember which) which immediately was followed by "Why Do You Get All The Love in the World?" by NIN on my iPod.

Oh man oh man, I love that song, I Love Myself Today. Very few songs get me twitching and punching the hair and all fired up as that one (another one is She Fucking Hates Me from Puddle of Mudd). "I'm cool, I'm calm, I'm gonna be ok, uh-HUH!" Just something about that "uh-Huh" that ignites my blood and makes me what to draw the same sound from some deep, gutteral place. Uh-HUH!
Tango Shoes is another great Bif Naked song but it's just very hard to beat I Love Myself Today.
