What other city can you attend boy Transformerscon AND RushCon?

I can think of no other!

Okay, really, if you want to is irrelevant. You have the CHOICE!

And does anyone else find it odd that 2112 is now 30 years old? Holy Schnikies.

2112 is the greatest Rush album.

It's the only good one, too, but hey.

Chatted with some cool people. Frequently about Kung Fu Fridays, interestingly enough.

And consumed. Oh how I consumed. T_T

Wait, no. Comics. That means: ^_^.

Also, "boy" Transformercon sounds like a pedophile's dream come true.

This one time Axiom and I were in Toronto eating at a pretty nice French restaurant and Geddy Lee and friends came in and sat down at an adjacent table and started eating. And because axiom has much bigger balls than me (and had no idea who geddy lee was) we started chatting with them about food and wine. True story! The worst part is, I am ashamed of this as a Canadian, I thought for some reason he was a drummer not a bass guitarist. I knew it was something unusual that he played. At least I didn't say anything about music to him. He was having dinner with his friend who was Sam the Record Man's son, and two women. He was apparently something of a regular at that restaurant!

I remember thinking at the time that there were probably about ten thousand Rush fans who would have killed their grandmas to be in that restaurant on that night and I was never that into Rush. I liked them sure but I don't think I ever owned any albums.

Moving Pictures. For me, that was the classic Rush-played-so-loud-in-the-basement-my-partially-deaf-father-would-provide-base-by-banging-on-the-floor album.
