Yeah, somehow I managed to offer two musically oriented polls last week. The second was a discussionof what, exactly, does one say during the rhetorical gap in Mony Mony ;[livejournal.com profile] inscrutable offered participation to his friends list, which apparently has never been to a cheesy frat bar.

Hey, who wants to go to Stages?!

Yeah, I didn't think so.

The previous poll addressed a decision to be made between Lager & Ale, and whether or not to finish off the evening with one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer.

The first half was dedicated to Max Webster's anthem titled, appropriate enough, "Lager & Ale", and the second to George Thorogood's seminal drinking song (and the one that hasn't been totally castrated by popular use) "One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer".

Thorogood's Live was an unavoidable bit of music for a youth in my circumstance, although my exposure to Mitchell and Max Webster was not as strong as I'd have liked.

And that little boy that no one liked was... Roy Coen. And now you know... The rest of the story.

See, you could've ended that by saying that Kim Mitchell is now a radio DJ...

It was all worth it for the last line. Somewhere out there, a bit more magical essence trickles into the the vast non-corporeal electro-magnetic radio-wave construct that we know as Paul ... Harvey.
